What Is IV Point?
IV Point is a medical clinic in Nişantaşı, Istanbul, specialising in intravenous (IV) therapy. Every client assessment and therapy protocol is planned individually by Dr. Ömer Fatih Şahin, a specialist in Anesthesiology and Reanimation. Sessions take 30-120 minutes depending on the therapy (45-60 minutes for most; 90-120 minutes for slow, controlled treatments such as NAD+) and are administered in a clinical setting under physician supervision. The clinic is licensed for Health Tourism by the Turkish Ministry of Health and serves international clients in English.
Our Approach: Focused Support, Not Long Programmes
Rather than treatment plans spread over weeks, we offer single, well-designed sessions that fit into a busy day. You come in, receive what you need, and continue with your schedule.
We don’t work with fixed packages. Every person’s biochemistry and immediate needs differ, so the composition and dosage of your infusion are determined for your specific situation. That is why the first step is always an assessment, never the infusion itself.
When Might IV Therapy Be Considered?
Our clients most often come to us in these situations:
- Exhaustion following an intensive work period
- The mental clarity needed before an important meeting or presentation
- Weakened immunity during seasonal transitions
- Staying energised while hosting guests or attending an event
- Supporting recovery after demanding physical training
- Dehydration and fatigue after long-haul flights
- Support as part of a longevity-focused routine
Why a Specialist in Anesthesiology?
IV therapy is often presented as little more than a vitamin drip. In reality it is a medical procedure that requires competence in venous access, fluid and electrolyte management, and correct dosing — the everyday work of anesthesiology and intensive care.
This is why IV Point was built around a specialist in anesthesiology. From the initial assessment to the design of your protocol, every stage is planned by Dr. Şahin; infusions are administered by our experienced nurse under his direction.

Safety and Clinical Standards
- Pre-treatment assessment: every client is evaluated by the physician before treatment. Existing conditions, current medications and allergy history are reviewed, and laboratory tests are requested where indicated.
- Single-use materials: all cannulas, infusion sets and syringes are sterile and single-use.
- Ingredient quality: the vitamins, minerals and amino acids we use are pharmaceutical grade and free of preservatives and additives.
- Emergency preparedness: the clinic is equipped to manage a potential allergic reaction, and the entire process is supervised by a specialist in anesthesiology.
- Monitoring: clients remain under observation throughout the infusion.
What a Session Involves
1. Assessment — we discuss your symptoms, goals and medical history.
2. Protocol — the physician determines the appropriate composition and dosage for you.
3. Infusion — 30-120 minutes depending on the therapy. You may rest, work or listen to music during this time.
4. Afterwards — we explain what to expect and whether a follow-up session is advisable.
Who Is It Not Suitable For?
IV therapy is not appropriate for everyone. It is not administered, or the formulation is modified, in cases such as pregnancy and breastfeeding, kidney or heart failure, certain inherited enzyme deficiencies, and with particular medications. This is precisely why the pre-treatment assessment cannot be skipped. Where we judge the treatment unsuitable, we do not proceed.
